Click here to see our In Memoriam video shown at our 50th Reunion. Paula Fatebena Minara (1951-2020)  STORMVILLE, NY – Paula A. Minara, 68, a resident of Stormville since 2014, died on January 10, 2020 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in NYC. She previously lived in Carmel and Mamaroneck.
Born in Yonkers on June 26, 1951, she was the daughter of Joseph and Benedetta (Cali) Fatebena. Paula worked as a Human Resources Director for over 10 years until her retirement in 2001.
Paula was a parishioner at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction. She liked baking, cooking, and traveling. More than anything, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
On July 10, 1993 on City Island, she married Robert Minara who predeceased her on September 11, 2001. She is survived by her children, Peter Porcelli and his wife Christina of Stormville and Roseann Porcelli of Stormville; her grandchildren, Peter J. “PJ” Porcelli, Jr. and Gavin Walter Porcelli; her mother, Benedetta “Betty” (Cali) Fatebena; her sister, Joann Denny; her former husband, Peter A. Porcelli and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her father, Joseph Fatebena.
Calling hours will be held on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment at Cold Spring Cemetery.

Patricia Ann Ferraro Simmons (1951-2017)  Patricia Ann Ferraro Simmons died on August 3rd, 2017 while scuba diving
Patricia Ann Simmons, 65, formerly of Mamaroneck, NY passed away Thursday, August 3. Beloved wife of Gary. Devoted mother of Jason, Brian, and Jennifer (Ofelia). Loving grandmother of Michael, Zachary, Brianna, and Jaryd. Dear sister of Katherine, Michael, Joe, and John.
Patricia was a registered nurse for 44 years and retired in 2016. She served the ECCR of Wyckoff for 34 years.
She was an avid scuba diver and loved to travel the islands. She considere,d herself a die-hard Yankee & Rangers fan, was well-known for her meatballs and lasagna and loved to cook "to feed an army."
Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck.
Funeral service Thursday, 10 AM at the funeral home.

Glen Fitzgerald  Todd Follansbee (1951-2012)  Todd J. Follansbee, life partner of Deborah Mayhew, died on Sept. 14 2012 at home in West Tisbury. He was 61 years old. Son of Dudley and Margery Follansbee of Brunswick, Me., he was born in Portchester, N.Y. on April 19, 1951. Todd spent his youth in Larchmont, N.Y., later graduating from Mount Hermon Prep School in Northfield, Mass. He earned a BA from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.
At an early age Todd developed a love for sailing and downhill skiing and was a master of both. An avid skipper, he sailed his boat from the Caribbean to Nova Scotia and continued for many years in the boating industry, selling nautical equipment in partnership with his father in D.B. Follansbee, Inc. He later worked in the
In 2007, after meeting Deborah at a conference, Todd set sail on his 44-foot Alden Ketch from New Haven with plans to stop by Martha’s Vineyard on his way to a family reunion in Maine. He ended up staying two weeks on the Vineyard before continuing on to Maine, and after two weeks, sailed back to the Vineyard and never left. Todd realized that the Vineyard was his Place in the Universe, and in a community known for being hard to break into as a washashore, he quickly became not only accepted but warmly embraced and involved.
Todd was the ultimate people person. He was extroverted and gregarious. He loved to connect with people, and to connect his people to one another. He knew how to be a great friend and thus had countless friends from the many stages of his life with whom he made the effort to stay in touch over the years. He also loved music, and became known as an organizer of parties with live local music.
Todd was a doting father to his three daughters, a loving father figure to Deborah’s daughter Katie, a devoted life partner to Deborah, and a loving son, brother, uncle, grand-uncle, cousin and nephew to his large extended Follansbee and Mayhew families. In the last two summers he took a job as a guide at the Gay Head Lighthouse through the Martha’s Vineyard Museum, which he absolutely loved and through which he made countless meaningful connections with visitors from all over the world. His lean 6 foot, 4 inch frame, full head of white hair and full white beard, beaming smile and always twinkling deep blue eyes made him the perfect old salt for the job.
Todd always said that one of the first things he noticed when he moved to the Vineyard was that no one he met ever asked him what he did for a living in an initial conversation. They simply started to get to know him as a human being and community member, without any prejudgment based on socioeconomic status. He treasured this aspect of the Island community. Todd was himself a warm, gentle, welcoming, kind, non-judgmental person who knew how to give unconditional love to his wide circle of family, friends and community.
Teresa Garofalo (1951-2016)  Teresa - Tree - Garofalo of Mamaroneck passed away on January 23, 2016 at age 64 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born to Joseph & Cynthia Garofalo, Tree was raised in Larchmont and graduated from MHS in 1969; she graduated nursing school as an RN and was employed by several Westchester County Hospitals. She had a special passion for her pediatric patients. Teresa is survived by her loving mother Cynthia, beloved fiancé Robert Filip, dear siblings Charles (Robin), Louis (Teri), Catherine Baran (George), Michael (Silvia) Gary (Maria) & Joseph (Kirsten). Tree was proud of all of her nieces and nephews (21) and grandnieces & nephews (15) and their many accomplishments. Tree valued her friendships tremendously. She will be greatly missed. Jane Goulding Dickerman (1951- 2019)  Jane Goulding Dickerman died Tuesday morning, November 12, 2019, at her home in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. The cancer she had been relentlessly fighting returned with a vengeance.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 17th at 11:00 am at Bethlehem Elementary School, 2297 Main Street, Bethlehem, New Hampshire 03574. Jane's family encourages guests to "wear their brightest colors and favorite knitted garments," with "bonus points if you have something from Jane." Daughter Thea, son Garth and husband John ask that we spread the word wide and far!
Jane was delightfully witty, quirky, and a good friend. She attended The University of Hartford and worked for Garnet Hill, a purveyor of women’s clothing, bedding and home decor.
Jane's son Garth Dickerman posted this on her Facebook page the day his mom died: "It is with a very heavy heart that Thea GD, John, and I announce that my mother Jane Goulding Dickerman has died. She died at home, with her beloved husband, as was her wish. She toiled hard against her diagnosis, but in all truth, cancer just fucking sucks, and it won. We are all in contact with our family and friends, who have been extremely supportive. She was a legend of the North Country of New Hampshire, and will leave a void in that community. So, knit a row, walk a dog, or drink some pink wine for my one and only mother; the famous Crazy Jane Goulding Dickerman. I love you, mom."
